Your first minutes

You land empty-handed. A few minutes of gathering gets you your first tools.

Arriving in the meadow: green hills, scattered trees, and a friend waving hello.

Gather by hand

Close your fists and punch a tree, dig some grass for fibre and break a little stone. Walk close to what falls and it flies into your pack. More on Gathering by hand.

Your first resource: punch a tree trunk with bare fists and chips fly off.

Dig into the grass to pull up fibre bundles.

Make your first tools

Open the Field pack and slide out the crafting tray.
Pick the stone axe, then hammer the plate with a fist or the little mallet.
Make a stone maul the same way. The axe is for trees, the maul is for rock.

TipIf something is missing, hammering tells you what. Gather it and try again.

Lay wood, stone and fibre on the pack tray and strike to make your first stone axe.

Find your way back

The compass on your pack points to your pod. It is also where you return if you perish.

Before dark

Dusk comes sooner than you think. Make a Campfire and a few torches first, and stay close to them. Hunters come out at night.
