Open and close it
Grip the top handle to move it, or the rim with both hands to resize it.
- Press the left menu button, or bring both empty hands together, squeeze both grips and pull them apart.
- Let go to leave the pack hanging in the air.
- Press the menu button again, or push your hands together on its rim, to close it.
Take things out and put them back
Grip a stack to take it. Let go over the pack to put it back, or anywhere else to drop or throw it. Stacks of the same item combine. A hidden drawer in the front of your pod holds extra things.
Buttons on the edge
The edge holds your gear and multiplayer, the compass, Settings, the question-mark button for this encyclopedia and the crafting tray. Press one with a fingertip and a trigger pull.
The wristwatch
Raise your left wrist to read health, stamina and food. Under water the food bar becomes your breath. See Health, stamina and food.
