What they are
Birds of prey are territorial. They defend their perch and nest, warning and circling first, and they break off when you leave. Their nests hold eggs and a chick.
The dive
A cry comes before each dive, and the dive is aimed at where you will be. Walking on or standing still gets you struck, but a sidestep, a stop or a turn after the cry makes it miss, and it circles for another go.
Nests
You can plunder a nest for eggs and cook them, if you dare. A toss of raw meat can draw a bird off instead of a fight.
What they leave
- Rustwing: meat and bone from its talons, always.
- Gloamtalon: meat and bone from its talons, always.
- The nests also hold raptor eggs.
