What it is
The Riftstalker is a huge eight-legged spider that lurks in the deep caves until it sees or hears you. It bites up at anyone on a ledge, walks up low ledges, and drops onto anyone below when no other way leads down.
Beating it
Its body is armoured, but it has a soft joint on its back, and its side eyes are weak points. Cut its legs and it sinks low enough to reach.
CarefulStanding on its back is not safe: it bolts and bucks until you are thrown.
